The last 4 days, they have said 'one more day' one more day' 'one more day.' I am going to apply for the next meteorologists spot that opens up. I know I can be just as accurate as they are.
We got moved again at the Farmer's Market, look for us at the spot we started in this spring. Why? I won't even 'go' there.
PLEASE pick up your iris orders. We call you within 24 hrs. so they are really fresh. So it's dissapointing to see them sitting around, many since July. If this is you, don't call ME next spring when they didn't make it!!!! =(

Blossom Drop
Exactly what happens, the blossoms on your peppers/tomatoes/beans and other fruiting crops drop. Why? Well, for now because of the heat, consistent cold temps cause this too. Why? When these conditions are present they are not condusive to good growing conditions and the plant KNOWS this. So, like I have said before, the plants only purpose is to reproduce seeds. It purposely drops the blossoms to concentrate on ripening the fruits that are on the plant. When conditions improve, either gets cooler or warmer, flowering will return, but then you have obviously lost part of your potential crop. Not much we can do about this! Want to learn more?
