Blossom Drop

Exactly what happens, the blossoms on your peppers/tomatoes/beans and other fruiting crops drop. Why? Well, for now because of the heat, consistent cold temps cause this too. Why? When these conditions are present they are not condusive to good growing conditions and the plant KNOWS this. So, like I have said before, the plants only purpose is to reproduce seeds. It purposely drops the blossoms to concentrate on ripening the fruits that are on the plant. When conditions improve, either gets cooler or warmer, flowering will return, but then you have obviously lost part of your potential crop. Not much we can do about this! Want to learn more?
