Cover them up!

It's a great day outside, above normal temps again. However, below normal are predicted for the next couple of weeks...is that payback for all these warm days? YES, it's time, cover all of your plants that need it. Remember, straw-hay-pine needles are the best. If you must use leaves, try to get at least a 2"of straw on the plants first. 'Hay by George' has straw for $3. You can just drive out there and get it, or I have a few extra $3 bales at the field too. Got all the iris finished yesterday. Like I thought, it took about 30 hours to get it done. 'How many iris for $4?' haha.
