My signs of "Spring"

Everyone has their own little 'signs of spring.' For me, I hear one of 'my' signs before I usually see them, the Red Wing Blackbirds nesting in the cattails & rushes. Love their call.

The eternal mess in the garage. Stuff everywhere, but you never find what you need...ever. This is a sign of spring I don't like! =(

A hyacinth poking around what used to be a beautiful garden bed.

Another 'big' sign is the little temporary hoop for the transplants. Plants everywhere.

Pallets appear in the driveway full of plants. This year we are are way ahead of last year at this time...about 2,000 plants dug divided and potted already, without even starting on the daylilies yet! I wintered over some iris in pots, and they look great. This way we can sell some of them right away. But didn't try too many, as they were potentially the 'sacrificial' plants.

Boys come out to play when water is around. Jace is being a big helper for Grandma.
