Pick your own FLOWERS and BASIL!

Oh wait someone already picked this on! Seriously though. We now have enough flowers blooming to offer a 'pick your own bouquet.' Prices vary but most are 40-50 cents a stem when you pick. Woody cuts are higher. Bring your bucket with water and a pruners and snip away.
Because I sell cut flowers to several places, there may be a limit on some.
Here is a few buckets of statice, a crowd favorite. Statice would be .30 a stem

Zinnias, love their bright colors. They would be .50 a stem.

We have many colors of zinnia, red, pink, orange, yellow, white, purply, and red lime.
Some other flowers are white, yellow and pink snapdragons. Wheat celosias in burgundy and white. Gomphrena in orange, purple and white (later on). Ageratum in blue and wine color.
Purple Evolution Salvia and Victoria Blue Salia, Helichrysum (strawflower) in many colors. Fragrant stocks in lavender, white and some mixed. Purple Buddleia just starting, Dianthus Neon Cherry, Neon Purple, and mixed. Cosmos, Bright Lights and 2 pinks, foliages, Shasta Daisy, Purple Korean mint (6 feet tall), Dayliles galore 75 cents to $1 each. Liatris white and purple, Bupleurum, Lime Light Hydrangea soon, many woody berry stem and filler stems, etc. etc.
For basil we have Sweet Italian, Lemon and lime, 50 - 75 a stem. Freezing basil is easy. I blend it with olive oil in the blender, just to make a paste, a little thicker than ketchup, it will need a lot stirring and pushing with a spatula. Then I freeze in ziploc snack bags, and thaw when ready to use. Then add your garlic, parmesan salt etc. When I have salted before freezing, it seemed bitter. Freezes for a long time.
