Time to plant tomatoes.

The 7 day forecast has all night time temps at 50 or above. That's the ticket! Trench plant taller tomatoes to avoid breakage from wind damage. Water when planting, then only 2-3x a week to get them going. Within 1 month, water only 2x per week if needed. Plants need 1-2" of water per week, especially when flowering & fruiting. Figure rain into the calculation. If plants are still wet, don't water. Soil is comprised of 25% air spaces. If you continuously keep those 'air spaces' full of water, obviously the plant drowns. Water seldom and deeply. After the initial watering when planting, ours never get watered! They are on their own. If we had a drought (not likley this year) I might have to bring the water tank around.

Peonies for sale!

Isn't this a beauty! Coral Charm. It was our #1 peony seller last year and no wonder, it's gorgeous. This is my photo and my adult hand, the flowers are enormous. As the flowers age they fade off to a pinkier shade. Yes, we have them potted & ready to go home with you. The plants are already budded out. They are tall plants and flower early. Quit wasting money on annuals every year, bring some of these beauties home.
