Saturdays Happenings
Three places the get our stuff on Saturdays. We will be at the Farmer's Market in Mankato from 8-12, selling from the field on Cty 21 from 9:30-4 (hrs. are earlier during iris bloom only) and
we are also at the Stones Throw Gallery in St. Peter selling our 'Bodacious Bouquets' from 11-5. My sister Joan will also be selling her handpainted flower pots at Stones Throw, buy one and make her day! You can also sign up for a full or 1/2 flower subscription for the season.

Iris at about 10%
Maybe 10% are blooming and 40% poised and ready to pop any day. Should be lots to see this weekend, predicting the following weekend will be the peak time. Stay tuned for details. Here are a few photos I snapped tonight. A beautiful place for an evening stroll.....

How many flats of flowers?
Started transplanting flats and flats of annual flowers, grasses, wheat and anything else that look looks great in a bouquet. Many have spent the last 2-3 months in my smaller hoop house, now off to the field and into the ground. No more frost please!

First Iris order
placed today, from my flower buds from Garden City. Teresa was not going to let the good ones slip by. You go girl! perfect weather this week to plant, stop in for perennials and try our beautiful fall raspberry plants, you'll be picking this year!
Open today
from 11-4. And....unless I post that we are closed, the hours are as posted on the right hand column. Beautiful day to tour thru of 10 acres of perennial plants!
