Barn Envy & Armloads of Flowers

I'd love to tell you this beautiful old barn in the background is mine, but...actually it is my neighbors across the road. But since it's in my photo I can PRETEND it is. I love old barns. I wish we had one. Heck, I'd even settle for a new barn! Oh Frank...........I got another idea !!!!

I love flowers, can you have too many? I especially love putting them together in bouquets. How can you get your mits on some of these beauties? Let me count the ways.......

1. You can come and pick your own.

2. You can call me and order a bouquet for pick up, 382-9337.

3. You can stop out at the field and I can pick you one.

4. You can buy them at the St. Peter Food Co-op.

5. You can buy them at the Mankato Farmer's Market on Saturdays.

DONE DIGGING THE IRIS!!!!!

Whew! Actually it overall went better then I expected digging 200 + orders.......myself.
The iris cooperated, most of them being big and robust. There were a few that were tiny, but will grow up in 'your garden.' Only a few were not available "Raspberry Splash," because only one five plants actually was, 'Christina Diane' because I thought she would kick 'em out better and a couple of others that had the same problem. We have nearly 200 new varieties for next year.
We are working on merging our 2 patches, its been a lot of work for the crew, couldn't have done it without them! If you haven't got a call for your iris (not everyone has an answering machine) they are all ready for pick up, so stop out. See side bar for hours. One of you I have no phone or email, nothing, so Ms. Anonymous....you stop out too!

Iris Orders

If all goes as planned, and sometimes it does, I should have all the iris orders dug by tomorrow.
If I have called or emailed you please try to get them as soon as you can, our storage space in the truck is stuffed. Some of you I have been unable to contact yet....I'll keep trying.
