Come see the blooming Daylilies!

Above is 'Papaya Delight.' Very soft pinky melon color.
This is 'Strawberry Candy.' How can you resist a flower with a name like that!

This is Alabama Jubliee. The daylily photos were just taken this week. Stop out and see who's bloomin ! All of these are potted and for sale at the field market.

Now that the Iris are done, Daylilies are my favorite!

Above is 'Imperial Lemon.' The flowers on this beauty are 7" across, one of our largest. This plant is humungous, foliage getting 36" high. We have these potted and ready to go.
This beauty is 'Whole Peach Pie.' The flowers are 7.5" across, the 'whole' pie. These are also potted and for sale at our field market.

This one is 'Custard Candy.' Very cool color combo.

As for Wednesday....

I am predicting we will open by noon could be 1pm. We got 6/10's inches of rain today. We had the clown act going on again in our haste to flee the field. I guess the thunder should have been a clue, but there were still weeds to pull. I got the 4 wheeler stuck trying to pull the wagon, oh I got about 50 feet or so. Not sure why I left the 5 wheeler hanging out in the grass, and for the reefer truck (short for refrigeration) well it was 5 back up and go attempts before we slide out of the approach and on to the road. Poor Kayla had to stick her head out in the driving rain to check for traffic during my field exit attempts. We did need the rain! We are picking green beans daily, and also have broccoli, cabbage, beets and herbs. And our course our wagon of plants. If we cannot open I will post asaik (as soon as I know).

Closed for the rest of Tuesday

Rain rain rain.

Daylilies

Are starting to bloom in the field. Alongside the dandelion and thistle! If you can look past the weeds the flowers are quite beautiful, I'll post some pictures soon. Started moving iris today. I am locating all the SDB's (standard dwarf bearded) together, closer to the market. Also going to do the same with the IB'S (intermediate). The tall bearded that folks ordered will not be ready until we call you, which will be between mid July - mid Aug. We started picking green beans today. Zucchini squash later this week. We will have green beans for sale Tues. at our field market, hrs. 10-4.
