We have about 10 that are done already or nearly so. Above is Dusty Rhodes.
Meet 'Cranberry Cordial.'

I can't quit visiting this one......'Electric shock.'

So ahhhhhhhh. Boysenberry Buttercup.

Some of the other stuff!

Here is a photo of the peony patch. We have about 20 varieties, and of course.....more on the way for fall. We will be digging and selling peony roots this fall and we have some beauties! They are all just about ready to pop. We will be selling them in bouquets and by the stem, at the Farmers Market in Mankato, Saturday. we also will likely have some for sale at our market location this weekend. My sister plans to make and sell some goodies to munch on while you browse the iris.
This is 'Cherry Luau." Very different looking! We use floral netting on some of our flower crops to keep them upright in the wind. Come to think of it.......

A shot of 'Silver Dawn Mix' above and bottom 2 photos. Some of the plants are yellow, coral, pink etc. These are my earliest bloomers.

WOW! So gorgeous! These will be for sale this fall. but I will label so you know which of the 'mix' you are getting. You must double click on the photo above to enlarge, check out those stamens!
So cool.

Open Today

Our open House for the Iris starts today at 10 till 6pm. weather is cool but dry. About 30 varieties open, many more by Friday & Sat., so if you can only come once, wait a few days. If you want to see them all, stop by once a week or more.

Getting Ready for Open House

'Daughter of Stars' above, so beeeautiful. Frantically trying to get all the iris tagged. Any volunteers out there?
This one is "Music, Sweet Music."

This is how I am tagging the ones for sale. When you find one of the hundreds that you'll love, remove one or more tags. You can fill out a form as you browse, or we can do it afterward. If a plant is not tagged, it is not for sale. Over 1/2 of them are, so that's about 300 varieties, you're sure to find a few you can't live without! =)

This is last years planting or iris, rows and rows. And they are in alphabetical order, easier to find your way around and to fill orders. Hope you plan to visit, should be plenty blooming by Wednesday.
